Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Any women taking testosterone replacement with along with estrogen?

My wife had a hysterectomy almost 3 years ago. Her personality has changed, short tempered, no paitence and no desire for sex, the top 3. We have 30 years together and not really wanting to toss in the towel but it looks like an option as time goes by. A year ago her doctor recommended low dose testerone & estrogen which she tried for 30 days and quit the testrone, she still takes estrogen.
For those women who are or have taken testosterone as part of your HRT (harmeone replacement therapy) what side effects if any did you have?
Good or bad?
How long did you have to take it tbefore you saw a change?
Good or bad?
She had ovaries, uterus, cervix removed.

Taking low dosage testosterone patches can be useful.

Getting the whole HRT regime right for her is more important. Try not to see it as throwing 30 years away, there is far more to life than just sexual activity.
