How did you stay sane trying/being pregnant again after multiple miscarriages?
I have had 2 back-to-back miscarriages in the past 6 months – it has been determined that I have low progesterone. We are trying again and have decided that if we have another miscarriage, we will take a break.
I am in therapy to help manage my anxiety (I have had that since I was young) and grief. We have a plan for how to deal with my progesterone problem – daily shots. I am doing my best to remain positive and sane during this process. I am afraid that even if my next pregnancy is great, I will not be able to enjoy it. We are in the process of trying and I want this but I am a little (ok A LOT) freaked!
What helped those of you out there who have been in this boat?
Thanks a million!
I am so sorry for your losses – I too have had multiple miscarriages and it is upsetting and depressing – it seems like the whole world has babies, except you.
Maybe you should take a break from trying to become pregnant and relax a little – maybe take a holiday with your hubby, sit in the sun, relax, swim or go for picnics, but try not to “get pregnant”, as it can become a bit of a chore if you are constantly thinking about getting pregnant.
Good Luck – I have three healthy children from 6 pregnancies.
I’ve lost 35 pounds with Bioidentical Hormone Therapy!
