Menstrual Replacement Hormone

I am a 24 year old woman who has recently been on hormone replacement therapy for low testosterone levels. I have been on a very low dosage of testosterone gel once a week. I stopped taking it about a month ago and since then have not gotten my menstrual cycle. I have never been irregular before. Could this be a result of not taking the testosterone gel like I normally do? I was also on thyroid medication that I also stopped taking at the same time. Is there any connection? FYI: There is no way I am pregnant.
It’s probably the thyroid. Thyroid hormone is responsible for metabolism. Stopping thyroid hormone may cause changes such as stopping menstration.
Use of testosterone in women is controvertial. It is used but with extreme precaution, due to the side effect. Testosterone is generally used in women to help increase libido. We do not know for sure why some women need replacement and how much, but testosterone gel probably is not responsible for your menstral change.
