Hormone Replacement Therapy Weight Loss

I’m 35, and in surgical menopause. I’ve always had a bit of a weight challenge – typically about 20 pounds or so – but now I need to lose 40 pounds! I’ve done Weight Watchers and Atkins in the past, and they’ve worked like a charm. I’m working out and staying physically active, but ever since I’ve been on the Premarin since last February, I absolutely CANNOT drop the weight. I’ve only lost 5# since April. What gives?
I’m considering an over-the-counter herbal hormone replacement therapy, rather than the Premarin (I would prefer to wait until the end of the summer to avoid the oppressive hot flashes!). Has anyone else experienced weight loss challenges thanks to hormones, and what did you do?
Definately go with a natural remedy as HRT is not actually that good for you in the long run and alot of people end up worse of and with other issues., weight is just one of them. I not actually sure why you are having problems but i do suggest you get onto a natural way of assisting you and just eat healthy and exercise on a regualr basis and see what happens x o
