Will Minoxidil (Rogaine) protect from hair loss while receiving Testosterone skin gel?

I take Androgel (Testosterone) for Hormone Replacement Therapy as my Free T level have been low for some time – which probably accounts for my hair being thick despite my friends and brother at my age. I don’t want to take Propecia (Finesteride) since it would counter the Androgels effects.

Hair loss is caused by DHT a more potent form of Testosterone that is converted from Testosterone primarily within the scalp and prostate but not all men experience loss of their hair from DHT. For some men it’s just genetic. I use the Andro Gel and I have a full head of hair.
