female hormone replacement
Would hormone replacement therapy harm a trans person’s health?

Would HRT harm a transsexual person’s health? If so in what way? Is it different with male and female trans people? How much would it harm a person’s health? Say, how much is the harm compared to smoking regularly?

M-F HRT is risky. The older the person, the riskier it is, and also the higher the dose. The main risk is dangerous blood clots in the legs. Risk decreases as the drugs are used over time. And some forms of dosage/drugs are riskier than others.
