Female Hormone Imbalance Symptoms

Weird period question? :) ?

Hi xx

Ok, so Im a 20 year old female, and due to some weight gain a few years ago, I have got a slight Hormone Imbalance. I have some very noticeable symptoms, but the hormone levels they checked during a Blood Test, weren’t that bad. I also have no Ovarian Cysts, they checked that too with a scan.

I haven’t had a period for about a year. 2-3 days ago I was struggling to concentrate, tired and clumsy, really aggressive mood swings/then feeling happy, irritable, stomach cramps, nausea, no appetite for food and I felt just a bit ‘off’.

Yesterday night after using the toilet, I noticed a slight bit of blood on the tissue. It was so light that I didn’t use anything (e.g tampon) and I went to bed. By 3PM this afternoon, the blood had nearly stopped. Still have bad cramps, nausea and a few mild mood swings, tired and hot.

So, is this my period, or not?! Lol.

Is this just been weird because of hormones? Thanks

Yeah that’s possible, but, if you are worried at all then make an appointment with your GP or nurse.
