Bioidentical Hormones For Men

I have SEVERE PMDD. I have tried almost every medication known to man for mental health but because im not clinically depressed or bi polar (and this is HORMONAL) nothing is working.

I have a choice, HRT after having a complete hysterectomy (which I am only 33 and hate to have it all taken out) or trying something natural. I figure I was created by nature, why not replace my body with natural things? Has anyone ever gone on bioidentical hormones (I found my favorite, most reliable place to get them being womentowomen.com) and if so what should I anticipate? I am becoming clueless. I am a psychotic monster 2 weeks out of the month from PMDD and then I die from the total body pain and aching I have for the week im on it. I only get about one week a month of feeling good. help…

I don’t know if you’ve tried any of these medications before, but they can all help or even almost cure PMDD:

Yaz birth control
Yasmin birth control
Antidepressants – Zoloft, Wellbutrin, etc.
Natural/Herbal – St. John’s Wort, Evening Primrose Oil

I haven’t heard of bioidentical hormones before, but after reading reviews about it a bit on the internet, it seems to work well.

Sorry if you’ve already tried all of those listed already. If you go to this site, http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-bhpms, there are many women in it who share their experiences with PMDD, and help introduce each other to different treatments available.
